(AP) -- Rescuers have found five hikers who were reported missing in New Jersey's "bear country."
The women were located in a heavily wooded area by a West Milford Township search-and-rescue team Thursday.
Authorities began the search around 7 p.m. along a desolate two-lane road where cell phone signals can be weak and black bears are known to roam.
The women were located around 9 p.m. No other details are available.
