Good weather lured the crowds to the Jersey shore, and it seemed like weekend would go on forever, even though it was Monday.
Jenkinson's Boardwalk, the company the runs the stands and amusement park rides, and charges $7.50 for beach passes at Point Pleasant had reported sales down 70 percent before the weekend.
But the beautiful weekend topped by this beautiful turned the tide. And surprisingly, homeowners in Point Pleasant welcome the crowds.
Locals hope the money raised through tax on the entertainment will be enough to kill a plan to charge residents for parking.
