Video: Child Used In Robbery

MYFOXNY.COM - A woman was caught on surveillance video carrying a young child as she and two men carried out a robbery in Manhattan.

Police say the woman was holding the child when she knocked on the door of an apartment at 540 Manhattan Avenue in Morningside Heights.

According to cops, once the victims opened the door, two men threatened them with guns before stealing money and an iPhone.

The robbery happened on Sept. 1 at 1:15 p.m.

The trio along with the small child were seen getting out of a silver BMW SUV prior to the robbery.

Police describe the suspects as Hispanic and between 19-23 years old.

One man, approximately 5'10" tall and 200 lbs., was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, black hat and black sneakers. Another suspect is approximately 5'9" tall and 140 lbs., and was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, Yankees hat and white sneakers. The woman is described as approximately 5'3" tall, 130 lbs., and was wearing a dark shirt, jeans and a hat at the time of the robbery.
