MYFOXNY.COM - Police sources tell Fox 5 News that the bomb found in an SUV in Times Square was large enough to kill several hundred people and cause a lot of damage to ground level stores in a two-to-three block area.
Fox 5's Linda Schmidt reported on that the bomb maker did not appear to be experienced and police sources believe the suspect probably acted on his own.
Schmidt also reported that two female NYPD officers on their regular patrol saw the suspect but did not know he was the driver of the SUV in the moments after the incident.
Schmidt reported that police are also looking at video from the subways to see if the suspect could have gone underground to escape after changing.
