A PATH train ran into the bumper at the end of the platform at the Midtown station on Wednesday morning.
Port Authority spokeswoman Jen Friedberg said Wednesday the 7:59 a.m. train out of Hoboken, N.J., struck the bumper as it arrived at about 8:15 a.m. in Manhattan.
The NYPD says 13 people were hurt. Initial reports are that they are all minor. Home video sent to Fox 5 from inside the station showed at least two people on back-boards on the station floor. SkyFoxHD showed one person being taken away on a stretcher.
A PATH spokesman says there are no delays on the system.
West 33rd Street between 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue was closed and two lanes on 6th Avenue were blocked for about an hour by rescue vehicles.
