New York City Wine & Food Festival founder and director Lee Schrager is pleased to announce the return of Chelsea Market After Dark. Taking place this Columbus Day weekend, all of the proceeds from the Festival will again benefit the hunger-relief organizations Food Bank For New York City and Share Our Strength.
Chelsea Market’s history dates back to the 1890s, and today it has become a key part of the Meatpacking District, serving as home to some of New York City’s finest food purveyors and restaurants. Chelsea Market After Dark is the perfect backdrop for an evening feasting on small plates and plenty of wines from Georges Duboeuf. Join Food Network’s off-the-hook personality Guy Fieri (Diners, Drive-ins and Dives) as he hosts the Knucklehead Bar serving up specialty cocktails with flair bartenders, plus live music and signature dishes. Also joining in on the fun is witty and sophisticated Sandra Lee (Sandra’s Money Saving Meals), who is no stranger to hosting the perfect party – here it includes a DJ, custom dance floor and specialty cocktails from the Sidney Frank Importing Company portfolio.
Enjoy samplings from the following participants: Amy's Bread, Bowery Kitchen Supply, Buddakan, Buonitalia, Chelsea Market Baskets, Chelsea Thai, Chelsea Wine Vault, Dickson's Farmstand Meats, Eleni's, Fat Witch Bakery, Friedman's Lunch / Chelsea Catering, Gramercy Park Flower Shop, Hale & Hearty Soups, Imports from Marrakesh LTD., L'Arte del Gelato, Manhattan Fruit Exchange, Morimoto, Ninth Street Espresso, Ronnybrook Milk Bar, Ruthy's Bakery, SaraBeth’s Bakery, T Salon, The Green Table / The Cleaver Company, The Lobster Place, and 202.
