German-American Steuben Parade

    MYFOXNY.COM - New Yorkers celebrated German pride and culture on 5th Avenue Saturday with the 52nd annual german-American Steuben Parade.

    Fox 5's Linda Schmidt and Congressman Michael McMahon from Staten island were the grand marshalls.

    The most common heritage among Americans is German.

    Some of the loudest cheers were in memory of a great German-American:  Lou Gehrig.
