Cops: Burger King Worker Dealt Cocaine

MYFOXNY.COM - Police in Nassau County say they busted a worked at a Burger King in Merrick, Long Island who was allegedly selling cocaine while on the job.

Michael Grandberry, 41, of Freeport, is accused of dealing crack cocaine in the parking lot of the restaurant at 1727 Merrick Road.

According to cops, Grandberry sold the illegal drug to a man on Thursday evening and a short time later got into a vehicle with another man. The driver, Memphis Hightower, 42, of Freeport, was found with a crack stem and crack cocaine, according to Nassau detectives.

Grandberry is charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. He's scheduled to be arraigned on Friday.

Hightower is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. He is due in court on Monday, August 9.
