Tolls to Rise Sunday for Bridges,Tunnels

MyFoxNY.com - Commuters are now paying more to use many NYC bridges and tunnels with the new toll hike in effect, Sunday, July 12, 2009.

The cash toll for crossing the Bronx-Whitestone, Throgs Neck, RFK Bridges, Brooklyn-Battery and Queens Midtown Tunnels will increase from $5.00 to $5.50.

The Verrazano-Narrows Bridge will now cost you $11.00 to cross and the toll on the Henry Hudson Bridge goes up 25 cents from $2.75 to $3.00.

The new price for the Marine Parkway and Cross Bay Bridges will now cost $2.75.

EZ-Pass users and some Staten Island and Rockaway residents will have discounted rates.
