MYFOXNY.COM - Two Con Edison workers were hurt when a manhole on Broadway and Hart Street exploded in Brooklyn according to police. One worker was reportedly in critical condition but Con Edison said that neither of the injuries were critical.
According to police, one worker was struck in the head by the manhole cover after the explosion.
Both workers were taken to Kings County Hospital.
This is the second manhole incident in as many weeks. On February 11, there was a manhole explosion on 20th Street and 6th Avenue in Manhattan after a transformer fire. No one was injured in that incident.
