NYPD Searches for Elevator Rapist

MYFOX NEW YORK STAFF REPORT

MYFOXNY.COM - The NYPD is looking for a man they say savagely beat and raped a 79-year-old woman with Alzheimer's in the Bronx.

The brutal attack happened in her building's elevator in the Westchester Square neighborhood. The suspect was caught on surveillance tape.

The Guardian Angels posted sketches of the suspect in the neighborhood. Police say he is in his 20s and is about five feet, seven inches tall.

Anyone with information is asked to call crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
