MYFOXNY.COM - The Long Island Rail Road is testing a text messaging service that allows anyone with a cell phone to receive real-time train information.

Whether the phone is web enabled or not, anyone with any phone can get train schedules, service delays and other details for free.

Text message 266266 with your station-to-station request. For example, headed to Huntington from Penn Station?

The test program is provided by CooCoo ( CooCoo.com ) a Long Island based firm.
