MYFOXNY.COM - Local airports have been dealing with lots of crowds.
AAA says 1.2 million people are expected to fly to their holiday destinations.
An influx of passengers is expected at all the nation's airports as the busiest travel day of the year moves along.
The roads could see more vehicles as early indicators show people are hoping to save money by driving instead of flying during the Thanksgiving holiday.
According to AAA, there will be a 6.7 percent decrease in air travelers this holiday compared with last year.
