MYFOXNY.COM - 17-year-old Cody Fisher was an active teenager with no health problems until his heart mysteriously stopped one day. It was an unbelievable shock to his family.
He had a heart condition called Wolf-Parkinson-White Syndrome (WPW). It is not that uncommon. About one in every thousand people suffer from it.
Most people, like Fisher, don't have symptoms, but a simple heart test called an EKG is the easiest way to diagnose it.
Luckily, Cody lived because the quick work of a nurse and doctor performing CPR.
