A hunting arrow hit the window frame of a house in Baysie, Queens missing the glass by inches.
Police say a mother and daughter were sitting near the window at around 9:30 p.m. on Monday when the metal-tipped arrow struck the frame.
The incident comes just days after a man was arrested in The Bronx for shooting a hunting arrow at a fence.
The arrow hit a woman in the chest. She was hospitalized and is expected to recover.
Police are investigating the incident in Queens.
