Dental Clinics Under Investigation

MYFOXNY.COM - Investigators hauled out computers and box-loads of records from a Brooklyn dental clinic. Earlier this week the clinic was taking Medicaid cards and getting the bills paid by taxpayers.

Fox 5 found that this clinic and another in Jamaica were illegally giving people cash if they used their Medicaid cards to get their teeth cleaned -- meaning that tax dollars paid for the treatments.

Two years ago, a Medicaid inspector vowed to investigate. Now, apparently, the state Attorney General's Office is looking into the matter.
