MYFOXNY.COM - Lt. Angelo Andriani is the former head of the Hoboken, N.J., SWAT team, an elite police unit that was disbanded in disgrace more than two years ago.

The cops got in trouble after Fox 5  New broadcast pictures of Andriani and his SWAT team posing in with their guns and with Hooters girls in Alabama, while on a trip to provide relief for Hurricane Katrina victims. There were also a few interesting pictures of some shenanigans in New Orleans.

Facing misconduct charges, Andriani has been suspended for two years so far with pay. His gun, badge and police ID were supposedly taken away from him.

Now comes word from Tampa that Andriani caused a ruckus at Tampa International Airport on January 18, complaining that a flight crew cut him on line at a security checkpoint. Police were called.

According to the Tampa airport police incident report, Andriani mentioned he was a police officer.

"... Andriani produced a gold Hoboken (New Jersey) Police lieutenant badge along with a Hoboken Police department identification card," the report said.

After things calmed down, Andriani was allowed on his flight. He was not arrested, but now there are serious questions as to how he still had his badge and police ID, which were supposed to have been taken from him when he was suspended.

A criminal background check was run on Andriani before he was allowed to fly.

Hoboken officials told Fox 5 there is no way he should have an official id and badge while suspended. Hoboken's mayor is now looking into suspending Andriani without pay. He has been making about $140,000 a year while suspended.

Sources say he has been spending a lot of time in Florida.
