A Halloween horror movie came to life in a quiet Colorado community Saturday, as a woman was reportedly stabbed in her home by someone wearing the killer's mask from the movie "Scream."
Police say a masked assailant broke into a woman's home in Nederland, Colo., shortly after 10 p.m. and slashed her with a knife.
The assailant reportedly forced open the door and attacked the woman, cutting her arms and face.
The victim's dogs came to the room, and the masked assailant ran away without taking anything.
Police say they have no suspects in the incident and the unidentified woman told police she wasn't even sure if the assailant was a man or a woman.
The woman, who wasn't seriously injured, was treated at a local hospital and received stitches.
