Felicia Lee, also known as "Felicia Tang," of Monrovia, Calif., who appeared in several mainstream movies, as well as adult films, was found dead in her apartment last Friday. Now police have arrested her boyfriend, Brian Lee Randone, and charged him with torture and murder in her slaying, the Pasadena-Star News . ( See photos of Lee and Randone )
The paper reports the 31-year-old actress' movie credits included "Rush Hour 2" and "The Fast And The Furious," as well as adult films such as "Asian Fever" and "Hotel Decadance." Lee also appeared on Playboy TV and other cable-television adult programs.
Her boyfriend, Radone, 45, is an ex-preacher who dabbled in show business, reported the San Gabriel Valley Tribune . He holds a bachelor's degree from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and a master's of divinity degree from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. The newspaper also reported that he appeared in the 2000 Fox reality show "The Sexiest Bachelor in America."
Radone called 911 to the apartment in Monrovia Friday night to say that his girlfriend was unconscious. The Los Angeles County sheriff department later stated that the cause of Lee's death was suffocation. Radone is being held on $2 million bail.
An acquaintance of Lee who worked with her in some adult films described her as talented and upbeat. "She was always pretty happy on set and laughing, and she always helped the crew get through the day," he said.
Lee's killing is the latest in a series of high profile entertainment deaths including Jasmine Fiore, who was killed by her boyfriend Ryan Jenkins, a contestant on the VH1 reality TV show "Megan Wants a Millionaire."
