MyFoxNY.com - Jason Itzler was once dubbed the "King of All Pimps" by the New
York media for running the now defunct high-end call girl service,
'NY Confidential.' It was at that time that he claims Ashley
Alexandra Dupre-- the woman at the center of the Eliot Spitzer sex
scandal- worked for him.
Itzler, speaking Friday on Good Day
NY, said Dupre -- then 19 years old and known as "Victoria"--
worked for him. Itzler said he met Dupre at the
Gansevoort Hotel where she was a cocktail waitress.
"When I met her I thought she was a gorgeous young woman. I
didn't want to hire her for NY Confidential. I wanted to date her,"
said Itzler.
"I gave her my card and a few days later she called me ...
she wanted to work for me."
Itzler was asked if he thought he was exploiting Dupre
particularly because she claims on her
MySpace
page that she left a broken, abusive home.
"First of all Ashley was not homeless or a runaway... we're
talking about girls who are together, confident, dress beautifully,
superstars."
Responding to a New York Times story that high-end call girls
are subjected to abuse as much as women who walk the streets:
"Don't believe everything you read. I never got one complaint
from a girl that they were mistreated. I never heard anything about
what you're talking about."
Itzler heaped praise on Dupre during his interview on
Fox 5's Good Day NY saying "she is
going to be huge..." He said she is beautiful and will
likely become a celebrity for her singing ability as well as her
looks.
