Staten Island Water Main Break

MYFOXNY.COM - A water main broke Friday morning in the Charleston section of Staten Island -- sending a veritable geyser of water shooting 30 to 40 feet in the air. Details were sketchy but we do know the water is near power lines, which could be dangerous.

Cars were actually driving through the water.

It happened at the insection of Arthur Kill Road and Veterans Road.

The city's Department of Environmental Protection is also responding to the scene.
