NEW YORK (AP) - A Manhattan politician wants to make it easier for healthy food to end up as part of your diet. Borough President Scott M. Stringer is expected to release a report on Saturday calling for new tax and zoning incentives to get markets to stock healthier food.

The report also seeks to require city agencies to buy 20 percent of their food from local farmers and recommends restricting the number of fast-food restaurants in newly established "food enterprise zones." Stringer says the city must examine the way food is bought, sold, cooked and eaten.
