MYFOXNY.COM - A Brooklyn family was horrified to learn that the city may force their 8-year-old son to relive the death of his little brother. It's all part of a lawsuit being filed against New York City's Housing Authority after the little boy plunged 10 stories to his death.

But this wasn't the first time the elevator got jammed. Residents of the building say it's happened before, and a 52-page report by investigators shows the elevator problems in the building were due to improper maintenence by the city.

Watch Harry Martin's video report.
