Investors who put their money into Agape World and other companies in the empire of alleged Ponzi schemer Nicholas Cosmo
may get some money out of his investment in a restaurant. Speranza Fine Italian Food Studio in Woodbury, Long Island appears to be doing well, and making money. Cosmo invested more than $1 Million in the restaurant and that money came from the hardworking investors who trusted him.
Now the court appointed bankruptcy Trustee Kenneth Silverman tells us that the Ottimo family who own and run the restaurant are not cooperating fully. The Trustee has had to go to court to get an order requiring the family to provide the restaurant’s financial records. He also says the family has not met the payment deadline that they had worked out with Cosmo.
The Ottimos’ lawyer insists the family is honoring its contract, and is providing the information.
More Information For Investors
The Trustee has set up a website that provides up-to-date information about what he is doing including court filings.
We are happy to provide this link and hope that it helps you keep up with what is going on.
