Mike Gilliam

My9 News Reporter/Anchor Mike Gilliam joined Fox Television stations in 1997, first at Fox 5 and currently at My9.

Gilliam is the recipient of a 2003 New York Emmy Award for Outstanding Coverage of an Instant News Story and a Long Island Folio Award for Breaking News Coverage. He has also received two first place New Jersey Associated Press Awards for Best Spot News Coverage and first place awards for Best Coverage of a Continuing Story and Best Coverage of a Feature Story.

Gilliam began his career at KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh and has served in a number of capacities ranging from News Operations Manager, to Assignment Editor at WJLA-TV in Washington D.C. to Anchor/Reporter at New York 1. Along the way he has honed his craft in positions including Radio News Director, Radio News Anchor, Sports Producer, and host of an Emmy-nominated football show.
