July 15, 2009 -- The PG rating (for scary images and violence)
gives parents a comfort zone to allow their children over 8 to see
the movie with their friends and without a parent present.
Harry and his friends deal with emotionally wrenching
tragedies.
A major character dies, but that comes as no surprise to
those who read the book. There are fewer visually disturbing images
than in the PG-13 Potter movies. The Hogwarts Wizard, now 16, deals
with first love, rejection and other aspects of adolescent romance.
Material is appropriate for Potter fans.
