Sept. 29, 2009 -- New Jersey is set to start receiving its first shipment of swine flu vaccine next week.
Health Commissioner Heather Howard says the first vaccines will be in the form of nasal mist, which is only recommended for healthy people between ages two and 49 who are not pregnant. Injectable H1N1 vaccines are expected to follow in staggered shipments.
Howard says the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has assured her there will be enough vaccine for everyone who wants it.
Overall, the commissioner says there has been more influenza-like activity than normally for September, but nothing to cause alarm.
