MYFOXNY.COM - Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, N.J., is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Medical-Surgical/Orthopedic Unit. This is a full-time, day shift position through Saint Barnabas Health Care System.
The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the Patient Care Director in ensuring the optimal delivery of care and service to patients and families in their designated areas. Responsibilities include interviewing and selecting, staff scheduling, performance appraisals, and clinical support to staff.
Requirements:
- BSN degree preferred
- Current NJ RN license required
- Minimum two (2) years recent or current acute care nursing experience required
- Charge nurse or leadership experience required, previous management experience preferred
