MYFOXNY.COM - Tech Tips from Brett Larson on Tuesday, September 22.

PREDICTING TWITTER: Can you see the future? You could make cash predicting Twitter. It's called ‘pre-tweeting.’ A new web site that lets you spend and earn 'virtual' cash by correctly guessing words that will become popular on Twitter. You start with $5000 just for signing up. Common words are most expensive like ‘the’ which will set you back about $45 a 'share' but I’m guessing ‘Brett Larson’ is going for cheap... right now anyway. You'll loose 5% for each sale and the minimum for a word-- 5 cents. CLICK HERE FOR PRETWEETING.COM

GOOGLE REDESIGN CONTEST: How would you like to redesign Google? Web site RedesignGoogle.com is hosting a contest for you then. You can pick whatever design you like from the Golden Gate Bridge in black and white background to random colors. The catch: the winning design won't become the look of the worlds most popular search engine. You'll get a MacBook Air though.

NETFLIX MONEY GIVEAWAY: Online movie store Netflix gave away a million bucks! In a contest that was created after an anonymous user rated 5000 movies in a single day -or five movies a minute for 16 hours straight- the web site decided to offer $1 million to anyone who can improve user ratings on the site. Fifty-thousand people registered for the prize. Yesterday, a million dollar check was handed over to a seven member international coalition called Bellkors Pragmatic Chaos.
