A New York City based organization is helping turn more and more parks and public spaces into Internet friendly zones.
Brett Larson 'teched it out.'
Watch the video, left, for Brett's report.
Highlights from Brett's report:
NYCWireless.net is helping wire up parks citywide with WiFi and keep it free.
A lot of people in New York city and a lot of people visiting have laptops with WiFi built in and as long as you can connect to those WiFi networks with your laptop you can be outside using your online connection.
In some instances you can even share your connection.
Brett suggests you make sure you have security software on your laptop and firewall anit-virus.
