MYFOXNY.COM - The latest American Idol contestant to be voted off the show told Good Day NY on Thursday that she was struggling with several health issues. Paige Miles said a combination of laryngitis, asthma and high blood pressure made singing very difficult.

"I'm very tired right now," Miles said when asked how she was feeling the day after her run on the show came to an end.

Miles received the fewest number of votes among the top 10 finalists. She was denied the chance to redeem herself (and perhaps influence the judges to save her) with a second performance. Judge Simon Cowell told her it would not help.

"Even if there was no possibility of being saved, I should have at least had a shot like the previous contestant did. I was really disappointed with that," the 24-year old told Co-hosts Rosanna Scotto and Greg Kelly.

When asked if she believed the outcome would have been different had she been healthy, Miles said it would have changed everything.

"Yes, I believe that. I've definitely been struggling with that. It affected the songs I was choosing. I was trying to play it safe and in the end it didnt' work out. It's tough."

"You've been struggling for a while now," said Scotto.

"It wasn't that I was not taking care of myself. I have asthma and high blood pressure... your body is pulling from other resources to get it together...it's a bummer."

"Are you going back to teaching?" asked Kelly.

"I'm not really sure yet. It's the morning after."
