MYFOXNY.COM - No matter their ages, kids are getting hooked on the fitness routines created by physical education teacher Len Saunders. The principles in his new book, 'Keeping Kids Fit,' are revolutionizing gym class.

He recommends these 3 exercises:

Bottle rockets: great for the lower body (hamstrings, quad muscles), great cardio when done over a period of time.

No rope, jump rope: great for kids who cannot jump rope yet; helps the kids through the proper mechanics, range of motion, and great cardio.

Push-ups: great for the upper body (triceps, biceps, pectoral, deltoids, and trapezius muscles)
