STRAWBERRY BROWN SUGAR FROZEN YOGURT

Makes 2 generous pints

1 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup milk powder
2-1/2 cups yogurt
4-1/4 cup whole milk
2 pints freshly chopped strawberries

Combine the sugar and the milk powder in a mixing bowl and set aside.

Scald the milk. Temper the milk into the sugar/milk powder mixture.

Return to the pot and cook over low heat until the sugar and milk powder are fully dissolved. Cool.

Slowly stir the milk together with the yogurt.

Place the chopped strawberries in the cylinder of the ice cream machine. Add the Yogurt mixture.

Freeze according to the ice cream maker's instructions.
