Next Idol Judge? Jersey Shore On Ellen

NEXT IDOL JUDGE?: Another name has been rumored to fill Simon Cowell’s shoes. According to the Daily News, Madonna's right hand man guy Oseary is in the running for the judges seat on 'Idol'. Madonna discovered him when he was 17 and has been in the music business ever since. Other rumored names include Jamie Foxx and Tommy Mottola.

JERSEY SHORE ON ELLEN: Folks are you ready.... are you pumped for the Ellen DeGeneres era? Before she makes her big debut on American Idol tonight, why not get the party warmed up with a little fist pumping? The breakout stars of “Jersey Shore’ (i.e. Pauli, The Situation and Snooki) stopped by Ellen's talk show yesterday. The same episode also featured some of the best highlights from Ellen's past shows, something tells me she's going to be busting a move on Idol. Well, not before grilling contestants sort of like she did on the "Know or Go" segment. “We don't pump our gas... we pump our fist.” Ahh… so profound. You can catch Ellen as she joins the Idol judges panel for the first time. Tonight at 8 p.m. on Fox 5.
