MYFOXNY.COM - One of hip hop's most popular events returns to Irving Plaza Friday night at 8pm.
If you think you can belt it out like a rock star… stop into "hip hop karaoke". Forget about the karaoke you used to know and get ready for the complete emcee experience. The event features 12 of the best battling it out in front of celebrity judges for cash prizes. Tickets are only $13.

This weekend, 22 artists will get a chance to showcase work that's diminutive in size but packs a giant punch at Lana Santorelli gallery's annual "small works show". You'll find paintings, sculptures and photography all under 24 inches. The show opens Saturday at 8pm. Admission to the gallery is free.

The Wendy Hilliard Foundation will present its 15th annual gymnastics gala showcase Sunday at 3pm. More than 100 kids will be leaping, tumbling and twirling around the Riverbank State Park gym in Harlem. They will proudly demonstrate the skills they've learned through the foundation that serves more than 10-thousand children. Admission is $12 for adults and $6 for kids.
