NEW MOON PREMIERE: Die-hard Twilight fans are sinking their teeth into the newest edition of the vampire saga "New Moon.” The world premiere took place in Los Angeles last night and hundreds of fans have been camping out since last week just to catch a glimpse of the stars. New Moon hits theaters nationwide on Friday.
ELTON JOHN BENEFIT: The Elton John Aids Foundation's 8th Annual benefit called "An Enduring Vision” was held in New York City last night. Sharon Stone was among the people who were honored for their commitment to fighting aids around the globe. Former President Clinton was also honored. The foundation helps fund local HIV and AIDS organizations throughout the United States.
DEAD CELEBS PERFUME: If you ever wanted to smell like Elvis or Marilyn Monroe? Now you can. According to the Daily News, a company in Beverly Hills is formulating a line of "antiquity" fragrances. The scents are based on the DNA of dead celebrities. Bottles of the perfume are sold online for about $60. Other celeb scents include Albert Einstein, Michael Jackson and Richard Nixon.
