Laura Posada's Winning Ritual

MYFOXNY.COM - NY Yankees Catcher Jorge Posada has a lucky charm. Her name is Laura Posada and she also happens to be his wife.

The pair met in Puerto Rico when they were only teenagers.

The attorney-turned-philanthropist talked about her winning 'ritual' with Good Day NY's Rosanna Scotto and Greg Kelly.

"I wrote on a piece of paper 'NY Yankees World Champions '09' .... and I put Jorge Posada and I wrote a bunch of names. I put it in a jar with honey and lit a candle to see if it sticks together."

Posada is the co-founder of the Jorge Posada Foundation- an organization that helps Craniosynostosis patients and their families. The Posada's son has the congenital birth defect.

"This year we raised one million dollars at our gala," Posada told Rosanna and Greg.
