MYFOXNY.COM - Dr. Mehmet Oz is the host of the new FOX show, The Dr. Oz Show.

The well respected heart surgeon has quickly become a bona fide television superstar.

Dr. Oz took a moment out of his busy schedule to visit Good Day NY.

Co-host Rosanna Scotto spoke with Dr. Oz on Thursday.

Between performing surgeries at NY Presbyterian Hospital and hosting a televison show, Dr. Oz knows what it's like to deal with the stresses of daily life.

If there is one thing people can do to improve their health, what would he suggest? Dr. Oz says "cut out sugars."

As for the most pressing health headline as of late, Rosanna asked Dr. Oz about swine flu and the new vaccine expected in the next few weeks.

"It should be safe," said Oz. The disease "is not dangerous for most people... half the people who hear my voice will get swine flu."
