MYFOXNY.COM - Most eye problems in children can be corrected, if caught early -- but try to get or 3- or 4-year-old to sit through a routine eye exam. It's not easy. However, there's a program that makes it easier to test the very young.

The "Healthy Eyes for Kids" program provides free screenings to preschoolers in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut and identifies kids who may have a higher risk for vision problems.

Fox 5's Dr. Sapna Parikh talked about "Healthy Eyes for Kids," on Monday's "Good Day New York."
