Lauren Froderman of 'So You Think You Can Dance' Photo Shoot

MYFOXNY.COM - Lauren Froderman danced her way into America's heart on "So You Think You Can Dance." Tuesday she came to New York to take a leap into the role of cover girl for a "Dance Spirit" magazine photo shoot.

Lauren, 18, of Phoenix, experienced the joy of a lifetime when she won the TV show contest and its $250,000 prize.

Lauren says that money will go into savings, where she can't touch it for some time particularly in New York City.

Lauren proved on so you think you can dance that she can do anything -- from tango to the hippest hip hop with rolls on top.

So you'd think this photo shoot would come easy. But she said taking photos was not her thing.

She has certainly struck it big. For now, college plans are on hold while she goes on the road doing publicity and the "SYTYCD" 40-city tour.
