No Idol for Abdul, Gosselin Home

The lastest entertainment news: Paula Abdul may not be returning to American Idol; and Jon Gosselin from the TV reality show 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' is reportedly living in New York City.

PAULA ABDUL: Last season American Idol had four judges and this season may be only three but it could be Paula not coming back. Her manager told the Los Angeles Times that Paula Abdul hasn't received a new contract from the production companies behind the show. He says she's hurt and angry over it and that at this point it doesn't look like she'll return to "Idol." Auditions for season nine are currently underway. If Abdul is going to be a part of next season her manager says her contract needs to be locked in by August 6. Simon and Ryan Seacrest have both re-signed for the new season.

JON GOSSELIN NEW APARTMENT: If you feel like you're already seeing too much Jon and Kate divorce gate. Well, now you may just be seeing Jon in the neighborhood. According to People magazine, the father of eight got a bachelor pad on the Upper West Side. He's renting a two bedroom in the Alexandria building for $5,000 a month. So far he's only stayed there one night and it was reported he was alone then he jetted off to France to be pictured with his new
22-year-old girlfriend.
