MYFOXNY.COM - Country superstar Clay Walker released his 11th album in June. It's called “She Won’t Be Lonely Long.” He came to Good Day to perform his new single.
Outside of the stage and studio, Walker is the founder of Band Against MS (BAMS), a not-for-profit public charity committed to providing educational and funding programs for those living with multiple sclerosis, and funding programs researching a cure for the disease. Walker established BAMS in 2003 with the goal of helping others living with the same disease he has battled since 1996. To date, BAMS has raised more than $2 million in an effort to fund important research that may one day lead to a cure for MS. In addition to his work with BAMS, Walker has also works with the Western Wishes Foundation. Since 1994, Western Wishes has made countless dreams come true for kids who love the "western" way of life. Contrary to other organizations who accept only terminally ill children, Western Wishes has a been able to serve victims of severe spinal cord and head injuries as well as survivors of cancer, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, and heart afflictions.
