Brad Pitt: Don't Talk in Bathroom; Text

Brad Pitt has some rules when using the phone in a public bathroom -- text, don't talk.

Pitt provided his tongue-in-cheek pearls of wisdom in the latest issue of Wired magazine in which he also dispenses advice on online dating and looking at porn at work.

When it comes to using a phone in the bathroom, Pitt says, "No, you can't talk on the phone!" Pitt said. "Do you want the guy next to you to hear your entire conversation?

"That's why you should only text in the bathroom. Just be sure you don't hit the wrong button and end up putting a photo of your junk on Twitter. Trust me, you don't want those followers."

For those who do online dating, Pitt says everyone lies about their profiles. "In fact, readers expect you to lie. If you don't, they'll think you make less than you actually do. So the only way to tell the truth is to lie," he said.

As for porn, Pitt says to bring magazines to work and scan them there. "It's like converting your vinyl to MP3s. Fill up your hard drive, and when you need a break from spreadsheets, just open a favorite pictorial."

Pitt is set to star in Quentin Tarantino's new movie " Inglorious Basterds ," which is set for release on Aug. 21.
