New York native Alicia Keys has branched out from music and now wants to be worn with her new company AK Worldwide.
"AK Worldwide was launched so I would have a home, that I'd be able to express all of my entrepreneurial visions," Alicia says. "So not only through music, through film, but through things like my jewelry line, the Barber's Daughters."
The Barber's Daughters jewelry line features delicate necklaces, intricate watches, rings with a flair, and almost all of them with inspirational inscriptions.
Keys partnered with Gisele Theriault, who has been designing jewelry for almost 20 years. The prices range from $60 to a few thousand for one-of-a-kind pieces. But for Alicia, it's not so much about stuffing her wallet as it is to your soul.
"There is a business that I'm in, that I've always been in, and that's the business of inspiration," Alicia says. "During these times we all need as much uplifting as we can possibly get, and I definitely want to do my part to be a part of that."
