Witness Benefit Dinner

MYFOXNY.COM - Peter Gabriel and CNN's Christiane Amanpour co-hosted the 5th annual benefit dinner and concert for WITNESS. The event included performances by Cyndi Lauper and Citizen Cope, among others.

WITNESS is a Brooklyn-based organization that uses the power of video to open the eyes of the world to human rights abuses. It was co-founded in 1992 by Peter Gabriel, The Lawyer's Committee for Human Rights (now Human Rights First) and the Reebok Human Rights Foundation. The organization empowers people to transform personal stories of abuse into powerful tools for justice, promoting public engagement and policy change.
