TMZ: LAPD Has Jackson Doctor List

MYFOXNY.COM - TMZ reports that the Jackson family is now working closely with the LAPD. The family has given cops the names of doctors who may have over-prescribed powerful drugs to Michael Jackson. One doctor, who TMZ reports is on that list, came out swinging.

Dr. Arnie Klein is a longtime friend and dermatologist to Michael Jackson. He publicly denied rumors that he is one of the five doctors that detectives are questioning.

When asked if he is the biological father of Jackson's two older kids, instead of a direct "no" he said: "All I can tell you is to the best of my knowledge I'm not the father to these children."

As rumors continue to swirl that Jackson's body was riddled with needle marks, new reports now indicate that a part of Jackson's brain is being kept by toxicologists. They are waiting for his brain to harden to run tests that may reveal if and which drugs were in Jackson's body. The test results may not be ready for weeks.

The cost of Tuesday's star-studded memorial has also been a topic of discussion. Numerous sources claim it could be upwards of $4 million. AEG, which owns Staples Center, has pledged $1 million to the city of Los Angeles.

AEG is planning to sell DVDs of Jackson's rehearsals as well as the memorial, which was watched by more than 31 million people on television.
