The doors of Apollo will be open from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. for fans to celebrate Jackson's life with songs and eulogies. Famous DJs will be spinning Jackson's hits and you'll get to see a special video.
Only 600 people will be allowed in at a time, so folks will be lining up early. With the constant flow of people around the Apollo, the theater is expecting thousands of fans to come through.
Rev. Al Sharpton will hold a moment of silence held at 5:26 p.m., which is said to be the exact time Michael Jackson was pronounced dead.
Fans will be invited to record their thoughts about Jackson's life and sudden death outside on a wall on 125th Street.
On Wednesday, July 1st, Apollo's weekly Amateur Night will be dedicated to the "King of Pop," who won Amateur Night with the Jackson 5 in 1969. Audience members will be encouraged to "moonwalk" during the "soul train" dance line.
