Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, 25, made her New York Broadway debut in "Chicago" Monday. The singer and actress first took on the role of Roxie Hart in 2006 in London's West End production of "Chicago."
Ashlee will play Roxie in the Tony Award-winning musical for a 10-week limited engagement, through Sunday, February 7, 2010.
Just a year ago, Ashlee and her hubby, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, welcomed their son into the world. They named him Bronx Mowgli. Ashlee says the funny name suits him.
Being mom and doing eight shows a week -- now that's a delicate dance. Pete is not only acting as Mr. Mom right now, he also showed up as the supportive husband for her first night, alongside big sis Jessica.
