MYFOXNY.COM - Mamma Mia! is celebrating its seventh anniversary and 3,000
performances, and just received a new honor--one that will help
charity. MyFoxNY.com's Shani Petroff spoke with the cast of the
Broadway hit.
The show was honored with a Tony's DiNapoli "Broadway Wall of
Fame" portrait. It will hang at the Times Square restaurant along
with other portraits celebrating hit Broadway shows as well as
Broadway stars.
The Mamma Mia! cast will autograph prints of the painting
which will be auctioned to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights
AIDS.
The actors said they're happy to have the production added to
the "Wall of Fame," and that Mamma Mia! is an amazing show to work
on. They said people of all ages love it and that it's truly a feel
good musical.
Mamma Mia! plays at the Winter Garden Theatre. For more on
