MYFOXNY/AP - An "American Idol" first, last night: A kilt-wearing bagpiper accompanied Lee Dewyze on "Hey Jude."

Simon Cowell says at first he thought the piper had walked into the wrong show.

Crystal Bowersox sang "Come Together" accompanied by a didgeridoo player and Lee Dewyze had a bagpiper walk in during his rendition of "Hey Jude." Ellen DeGeneres said Aaron Kelly's version of "Long and Winding Road" "felt like a long and winding song."

Simon Cowell thought Andrew Garcia's take on "Can't Buy Me Love" was "irrelevant" but he was impressed with Casey James doing "Jealous Guy." Randy Jackson gave Tim Urban props for his rendition of "Can't Buy Me Love" -- and for his Beatle hairdo.

The judges were mixed on "Across the Universe" by Siobhan Magnus and Michael Lynche's version of "Eleanor Rigby." Meanwhile, Katie Stevens says she's been asked to prom by five guys and she'll go with the one who can prove with his phone bill that he voted the most for her.
